A new ‘get rich’ band is trying to make a name for itself in the rap game
The Get Rich or Die Tryin’ crew has been making music for a decade, but their debut album, A New Wave of Tones, is the first full-length effort since 2010’s The Best Is Yet to Come.
The song “Gone, Gone, Gone,” is the centerpiece of the new album, and it’s a very big hit.
The chorus begins with the lyric “The end is nigh,” which is pretty much the end of the world for anyone living under a rock.
It’s a great song to end a conversation, especially when the song is about someone who’s been living on the margins for a while.
This is the kind of song that you think would be forgotten after a while, but in the world of rap music, you can still find it in the middle of a conversation.
Even if you don’t remember it.
“I think people really like that one, that one where you don, you don’ wanna die,” producer Dwayne McDuffie says.
“I think that one’s a little more upbeat, but I think it’s like, ‘Hey, you know, if you die, you gotta be able to come back alive, gotta be alive and that’s gonna make you really happy.’
I don’t know, maybe it’s just that I was like, I’ll just say that song.”
The album opens with the familiar pop and R&B song “Stay Hungry,” which sounds like it could be on the radio forever, and then the song hits with a powerful beat.
It ends with a heavy, slow, almost jazzy rap chorus that makes you want to shout out to everyone in the room, “Yayyyyyyy!”
“When you think of the song ‘Stay Hungry,’ you think about, ‘Wow, I can’t believe I’m singing this song,'” McDuff, who is also the lead singer on the album, tells The Hollywood Reporter.
“It’s a really catchy, upbeat song that is really powerful, because it’s about a real life experience that you’ve never heard before, so it’s really catchy and really upbeat.
But it also has a lot of soul.”
The song has been a hit in its own right, with fans flocking to the band’s official YouTube channel for the track.
McDuff says it’s gotten a lot more than the amount of people listening to the music on YouTube, and he’s happy to see that it’s resonating in the hip-hop community.
“It’s just a cool moment when the fans that have been following it for so long and it was a huge thing on YouTube for people to see, you get to share a song with your friends, it’s pretty cool, but at the same time, it also means a lot to our community,” McDuff said.
“The fans that we’ve had on the YouTube channel have been really supportive and really loving the music and loving the videos that we put out.”
The video for “Stay Happy” has received more than 8 million views.
It features a bunch of different characters from the game, including a dog, a dragon, and a monkey.
In the video, McDuff and other producers explain how to play the game.
They play the song for themselves.
“When I was playing the game I used the game’s menu and just opened up the game,” McDuf said.
“‘Game’ was kind of my first word in that phrase.
So I just opened it up and I played the game and I realized, ‘Oh, I just want to open up my game and play a song.’
It was really cool.”
The group is not shy about showcasing their talent on the road.
After a short tour of Europe, they played a few shows in Los Angeles and performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in New York City.
The group will be back on the East Coast next month for a full North American tour.
They also recently performed in Las Vegas for a special concert, and they’ll be back in the Bay Area next month.
“We really like being able to bring the band out here, which is awesome because the fans have been great,” McDUFF said.
“And we’ve been great to support the artists that are doing great things and have really taken our art and made it into something good, so we’re really proud of it.
And we’re just excited to see how things go out.”
